Interactive Attraction
The Hard Rock Cafe’s throughout the USA have a cool new high- tech way to check out their rock and roll memorabilia. The creation of DE-ZYN studios partners created the interactive touch-screen Rock Wall. Guests can inspect some of the archives at the Hard Rock in Orlando, but you can view more than 1,300 pieces from the company’s 162 venues around the world. A guest can access and expand a single image or video to be as large as the wall itself; or up to six guests can explore different collections in their own zone simultaneously. Artifacts on the screen can be swiped away or over to another person’s zone. Users can search by categories such as artist, year, genre and type. Crafted from a single sheet of Stewart film glass, this interactive touch-screen was custom made for the Orlando Hard Rock. It utilizes Microsoft Surface technology and uses cameras to sense objects, touch and hand gestures. In addition to the artifacts, the wall can display videos and allow guests to vote on what video plays next in the cafe.
